The role

Hybrid working mix of home and office.

Sitting within the IT team, you’ll be a key collaborator ensuring projects receive the IT support they need to deliver optimum results. You’ll manage IT resources, maintain project cost models and advise on Project RAG including RAID status from an IT perspective. In short, where the IT aspect of projects is concerned, it’s over to you.

By coordinating recording and analysing project data and responding to reporting requests, you’ll provide a crucial strategic overview of project progress, costs and impact. You’ll also direct IT governance, managing project plans to ensure efforts are being made in the right places for projects to deliver desired commercial outcomes within time and budget constraints.

You’ll be an influential figure encouraging a culture of constant improvement within IT governance. With 80% of Clarks’ project spend sitting within IT, your resource management will have a potentially large impact on our profitability—make that a positive impact and you’ll be able to put your name to some significant achievements here.

A bit about you

You’ll be experienced with data analysis and delivering insight-rich reporting using business intelligence tools and Microsoft programmes. You might have gained this experience at a similar sized organisation as a project planner or coordinator where you’ve used methods like Waterfall and Agile. You’ll also have developed a good understanding of industry developments.

Just as important will be your ability to fit in with the changing culture here at Clarks. That means having an open-minded creative approach and highly-developed communication skills to make you a great collaborator and influential figure with colleagues at all levels of our business. Providing reports to our IT Portfolio and Change Manager for stakeholder meetings, you’ll gain knowledge into more senior roles that will prepare you for the move up when the time comes.
