The role

Critical to the successful growth of Clarks EMEA, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our leadership teams fully understand performance against our plans and have the support to make the best commercial decisions.

It’s a real partnership role that will get you working with the business. You’ll be solving problems as you deliver analysis and reporting; educating on the correct application of financial policies building relationships to truly understand key drivers of performance.

We want you to come in with energy and an open mind. We are looking for someone to work with the teams to improve our reporting, create efficiencies and get below the skin of the business. This could be a really exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to really make a difference in a region set for an exciting growth story.

About you

It goes without saying that you’re a professionally qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA) with energy and a commercial instinct.

We are looking for people that make a difference and bring new ideas to the table, introduce better ways of delivering deep, accurate quantitative data to wow your stakeholders. You will be highly effective at business partnering and operating credibly at senior management level.

You will have strong attention to detail with proven experience working with large amounts of commercial data.

You will bring with your in-depth knowledge and experience of planning, budget and forecasting processes with the ability to apply sound judgment to accounting situations and questions.

There’ll be lots of opportunities to present your findings to key stakeholders and you’ll drive the team to put together compelling cases for change, as well as developing and maintaining the systems by which they’ll do so.

It’s all about enabling your customer group to assess performance and make future decisions. So, you’ll be thorough, accurate and a brilliant communicator who can exert a wider influence through your findings and fantastic problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills are a must for this role.
