About Clarks

Think you know Clarks? Think again.

Clarks has been at the forefront of innovative shoemaking since 1825 when brothers James and Cyrus Clark made a slipper from sheepskin off-cuts. A ground-breaking combination of invention and craftsmanship that’s remained at the heart of what the brand does.

From the original Clarks Desert Boot to the iconic Wallabee, each design has an instantly recognisable signature – a unique combination of craftsmanship and innovation that make it unmistakably Clarks.

And entering its third century, Clarks is stepping into a new chapter of its history with investment from LionRock Capital which provides the industry know-how and financial backing to position this iconic footwear brand for future success.

Clarks is a global footwear brand serving millions of consumers in over 100 markets worldwide through nearly 6,000 employees. Will you be part of our next step?
