The role

You’ll lead the design, development and implementation of SAP Order To Cash solutions that support our Retail, Wholesale and Ecommerce business channels. Collaborating with stakeholders in business units across our organisation, you’ll help refine business requirements and translate them into the innovative solutions that get the best out of SAP standard functionality. 

You’ll be an authority on SAP SD, and the interactions it has with other modules like Material Management (MM), Logistics Execution (LE), and FICO as you define end to end solutions. You’ll lead and work on a mix of project and BAN enhancements, fully utilising your deep knowledge and experience across the SD function and in core concepts such as pricing, condition technique, copy control, and Available-to-promise (ATP). 

Mentoring junior team members, you’ll embrace the Clarks culture; sharing your SAP experience and solution design skills to further the development of those around you. A bit about you

You’ll have significant experience in a similar leading role in the retail sector; where, as a senior SAP SD practitioner, you have successfully delivered quality large-scale solutions. If that was in the footwear and apparel sector—all the better. During that time, you will have been involved in 3 or more full SAP end to end implementations, with at least one of them in a lead SD role; developing strong leadership skills as well as in-depth knowledge of SAP SD configurations and associated SAP modules. Debugging ABAP code, and the ability to interrogate the underlying SAP database tables with SQL queries, will come easily to you.   

Leading SAP OTC developments as part of our transformation into a smarter business, you’ll lead by example with your flexible and innovative approach to problem solving. An influential & respected figure within the IT function, you’ll challenge the norm and help drive change that takes the team & Clarks forward. You of course have great communication skills; and can present complex concepts and ideas, with clarity and appropriate detail, to all levels of audience in the business.
