Taking on this role means getting stuck into the technical details of GTS right off the bat. That’s because, first off, you’ll be using your expertise with SAP planning applications to integrate our GTS to Seeburger (BIS5). Deep-diving into SAP and ERP, integrating and analysing data, you’ll be configuring our GTS to make us sleeker, smarter, and more efficient. Where GTS is concerned, we’re taking big steps forward. You’ll be there to make sure that we’re surefooted and agile in our approach. Because you understand how GTS works to improve customer experiences.
As you’ll know, major IT projects mean plenty of troubleshooting. And here it will mean understanding BADIs and SAP and knowing your way around user exits in GTS. You’ll be overseeing full project lifecycles from integration to archiving and you’ll be the go-to person for expert input on everything from applications like Materials Management right through to our archiving processes. By doing that you’ll help ensure a better, smoother future here at Clarks and you’ll be putting your name to a series of amazing achievements.
A bit about you
At Clarks, integrating with the team is every bit as important as the GTS integration projects that you’ll handle. We’re looking for someone who can come in and immediately get to grips with what’s required and mobilise others within the business to make sure it gets done to the highest possible standard. To do that, we think you’ll need experience of delivering and supporting critical business systems and you will have seen through at least two project lifecycles working with SAP and GTS.
Having used Customer Preferential procedures with retail or FMCG companies of a similar size to Clarks, or a SAP consulting partner, you’ll know how complex businesses work when it comes to SAP and GTS. You’ll bring your understanding to bear in everything you do here. It’s that expertise coupled with your meticulous, analytical approach that puts stakeholders and colleagues at ease. Because they know that, with you around, GTS projects aren’t just in safe hands – they’re going next level. Just like your career.
Clarks, based in Somerset, England, has been at the forefront of innovative shoemaking since its foundation in 1825, when brothers James and Cyrus Clark made a slipper from sheepskin off-cuts. At the time it was ground-breaking; a combination of invention and craftsmanship that’s remained at the heart of what the brand does now.
In the Clarks archive of more than 22,000 pairs are shoes that have sparked revolutions and defined generations. From the original Clarks Desert Boot, first designed by Nathan Clark and launched in 1950 to the iconic Wallabee, each design has an instantly recognisable signature – a unique combination of craftsmanship and innovation that make it unmistakably Clarks.
Clarks is a global business operating retail, wholesale, franchise and online channels in over 100 markets worldwide supported by nearly 10,000 employees across the world.
We’ve already told you about the degree of flexibility you’ll enjoy as a valued addition to our business – but that’s just the start. As well as development opportunities, pension and a competitive salary, you’ll also enjoy a variety of other benefits. And, as everyone loves new shoes, you’ll also get a very healthy discount on our products.
