You’ll join a talented, ambitious eCommerce team with the important responsibility of helping to lead the user experience across Clarks eCommerce websites and emails; creating a fantastic digital experience using all the tools, ideas and practices you can throw at it. You will work alongside the current UI / Digital Designer and eCommerce Development team to ensure the brand is represented in the simplest most intuitive way. Fully responsive design from the small screen experiences to the largest; whilst being accessible to all abilities regardless of their touchpoints.
We want the Clarks customer experience to be as well designed as our shoes, therefore we need a talented Designer experienced in eCommerce to help design compelling and engaging online journeys. You will be instrumental to our business, with the power to craft digital experiences used by millions of people from website UI, email layouts to full page engaging website experiences.
You will have designed many accessible digital experiences, ideally, you’ve gained this expertise in an online eCommerce role, but if you have a different background, we’d still like to hear from you.
Experience in improving processes and workflow.
Strong understanding of UI kits, design components and design systems
Experience in collaborating closely with UX teams to create user centred design solution
Experience in accessible responsive design
Strong working knowledge and experience working in industry software including Figma, Adobe CS, prototyping and workflow tools
Understanding of front-end web technologies (including HTML, CSS)
Design-related degree or equivalent in practice experience
