The role

That’s how you’ll play a vital role in making sure we continue to grow and engage more and more customers. You’ll measure the performance of the collection. Monitor sales and profit. Use our Range Tracker system to ensure it accurately reflects the line planning at all times. You’ll listen to feedback from multiple sources and research competitors so that you can have the utmost confidence when presenting your ideas to stakeholders and marketing teams to get their buy-in. Because when you have confidence in the range, it radiates through the business in an amazing way. Like we said – it all comes down to shoes.

The success to collaborations with Originals is managing external stakeholders and ensuring communication and information flows across the functions. Adhering to our Collaboration calendar and tracking our project timelines is a huge focus for this role.

 

A bit about you

You’re someone who can get major stakeholders, suppliers (no matter what their time zone) and external clients on your side. You have energy and enthusiasm for what you do, which has shown through in your selling prowess in previous roles. The way you communicate stirs an audience – whether that’s the stakeholders you dazzle with your amazing PowerPoint presentations or the customers who will be so excited by the Clarks collection you help create. That’s because your passion for the products you work with shines through in everything you do.

And that’s the key in this role. Passion for selling to your audience. Maybe your previous experience wasn’t in footwear or fashion but you’ll be keen to learn all about it because that’s part of understanding the market place. Knowing the latest trends and predicting what’s coming down the line. Knowing what our competitors are doing as well as they do. Understanding the workings of our business and its distribution model across multiple zones just as easily as you understand the figures on an Excel spreadsheet. It’s a unique package of skills you have. And that’s why you’ll fit right into the Clarks team.
