The role

Alignment. Optimisation. As Ecommerce Visual Merchandiser, those will be your twin focal points as you create spectacular customer experiences that boost conversion rates and sale value while keeping returns to a minimum. You’ll work closely with global brand teams and digital merchandisers to make sure that when you deliver the UK and ROI trading plan, you’ll make sure that we’re always taking an aligned, consistent approach to branding on our Ecommerce sites.

 

You’ll apply that same eye for consistency to site performance, using data and insights into customer behaviour to shape a logical, smooth journey through our Ecommerce sites, ensuring that we never miss cross selling and MVT opportunities. You’ll apply a critical eye to everything you do and, if you see a better way of doing things – something that might improve our eSAT score, conversions or turnover – you’ll collaborate with front-end developers to get it planned and implemented.

 

Collaboration is key here – working closely with your team and the wider business to make us better at what we do. So, as much as our current transformation is digital, first and foremost, it’s about people and working together to make us a better business in the years ahead.

 

A bit about you

Your commercial focus is something truly special. In fact, you get a kick out seeing conversions and turnover moving in the right direction. That because you know you’ve got the ability to change customer behaviour with the improvements you make to our Ecommerce sites. You’ve done it before in other Visual Merchandising roles where you’ve used website optimisation tools, Hybris and Monetate systems and Ecommerce best practise to drive profitable growth. You’ve got tried and tested methods and you know they work.
