The role

Accurate forecasting of demand across your given region will be your primary focus in this crucial role. And that’s not just Retail, but Digital and Outlet sales (where applicable), too. Using our specialised software system, you’ll manage allocation and replenishment of stock from the Distribution Centre and make sure the right shoes get to the right place at the right time. It will also be down to you to work with the Demand & Fulfilment Centre of Excellence to update Seasonality Profiles and work cross-functionally to deliver special events, from Back-to-School to Black Friday.

Make no mistake, your forecasts will be fluid and in line with your continual reviews and updates based on sales, lost sales, promotions and commercial plans – not set in stone. So you’ll be forever analysing and re-analysing the state of play. Plus, you’ll go all-out to make sure plan can be delivered within stringent time constraints that are dependent on the capacity at our Distribution Centre, store delivery schedules and lead times.

 

A bit about you

It’s very likely that you already have Demand & Fulfilment software experience via your essential background in a retail environment. What’s certain, however, is that you’ll have outstanding analytical skills and knowledge of appropriate tools like SQL, databases, BI and Excel. Not to mention proven commercial skills, good judgement and demonstrable ability to prioritise and manage your own workload. This is a role that demands a high attention to detail and the ability to spot issues that might not be immediately apparent to less detail-focused people. You’ll also need to be a great team worker who collaborates by nature and knows how to build relationships with multi-functional stakeholders from Merchandising to Supply Chain and IT.
