We are looking for an experienced Digital Architect to join our Digital Engineering team at Clarks focusing on integration projects.
The role will involve day-to-day digital architect duties, working within one or more agile delivery teams and representing the Digital Architecture function within the Digital Engineering management team.
This is a senior role and we expect the successful candidate to have a good knowledge of Mulesoft, be a confident self-starter, with excellent communication and influencing skills, as well as having the necessary technical experience and expertise to guide and lead the delivery teams during design and delivery.

You will combine your deep experience of architecting, technology and delivering customer centric Digital platforms and solutions with your skills and credibility to lead technically a digital product team(s) to successful digital project delivery. You will take accountability for ensuring that the end-to-end digital solutions to fulfil our stakeholder’s expectations of high quality and cost-effectiveness.
You will need to have experience in designing end to end eCommerce solutions with simplicity in mind. Experience should be drawn from at least 2 full end-to-end large scale eComm implementations of an Enterprise Platform such as Salesforce, Hybris or other, ideally within the FMCG sector. You will have had interaction within an ERP environment, integrating processes and systems seamlessly, complimented by a good understanding of Enterprise Integration Platforms (e.g Mulesoft) and experience in delivering API services. Experience in Omni Channel solutions and delivering agile sprints is also essential. With strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills and highly effective communication skills, you will be able to articulate complex issues and concepts to a wide range of recipients both written and verbally.
The Digital Architect will be experienced in understanding customer requirements, delivering Digital platform solutions, producing high quality code and scalable, integrated software solutions in the Digital space. It will suit someone who wants to take a strategic approach to Digital platform design and delivery whilst also maintaining a hands-on role working with technology. Ideally you will have experience in software development or software engineering.
Degree qualified in a numerate subject (which could be scientific, technical or business oriented) or equivalent of knowledge acquired through experience, other qualifications and training/development.
