It's a big job, but an incredibly exciting, varied and challenging one. We are looking for an experienced leader with a background in Merchandising, Sales or Buying with a strong focus on the European and Middle Eastern market. Someone who can create and deliver a merchandising strategy whilst leading a high performing and engaging merchandising team.
You’ll be responsible for leading the assortment planning process for the Essentials channel to ensure plans align to our EMEA region needs. You will be develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure effective buy-in and delivery of the merchandising strategy. More importantly you will help to create seasonal product and merchandising strategy in line with the annual EMEA budget to deliver Essentials channel financial KPI’s and strategic objectives.
So, what do you need to bring? Ideally you will have exposure to the European market in your current or previous roles, this can be in any Merchandising capacity. You will be a creative and dynamic professional who has strong analytical and numerical skills. With your passion and drive not only will you showcase your commercial acumen and the ability to understand what will appeal to customers but also your strong communication skills that will allow you to maximise the business opportunity. You need to love shoes and the value of a sale.
The successful applicant will have good knowledge of the full end to end planning processes and have experience of leading and developing a team.
