With the current climate this role will be remote based initially i.e. working from home but there will be an expectation for you to be based at least some days in our HQ in Street.

Dealing with a high volume of customer enquiries across telephone, email and social media platforms, our Customer Advisors deal with varied queries from placing and tracking orders, store assistance and complaint resolution. You will build trust and rapport with our customers by engaging with them in a professional and friendly manner. Doing all you can to deliver an exceptional experience and help to build trust in our brand.
This is a fast-paced role, that needs you to be able to adapt when we are in our peak weeks. Especially during our Back to School period when our advisors can handle 1500+ calls per day.
You will be tasked with successfully responding to all our customers’ queries, recognising recurring trends and working with your team to improve processes and drive customer excellence.
The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can think on their feet and resolve any issues that come up with our customer-first business mentality, driving satisfaction. They will also be experienced within sales, as the opportunity to promote company products and service propositions may arise. The most successful advisors have the communication and interpersonal skills needed to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues in an efficient manner.
We are looking for people with a strong customer service background, experience within a contact centre would be an advantage. However, your passion for people and work ethic will be as important as your experience. Having the ability to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure and use numerous software packages across multiple platforms is a must. In return, you will receive excellent training whilst being coached and mentored to develop your career within Clarks. You will be happy working as part of a busy and sociable team where you can make a real difference, enhancing the online and high street shopping experience of the millions of customers who visit Clarks every week.
