Job Advert :

We are seeking an experienced estates surveyor to manage a regional property portfolio in the most cost-effective manner. You’ll manage the portfolio to maximise returns and minimise outgoings.

A week in the life of
This is a varied and fast paced role. In a typical week you’ll be liaising with landlords, agents and external solicitors to instruct and progress agreed deals such as lease renewals and re-gears.

You’ll have regular, on-going dialogue with a select group of external property advisors to initiate and progress added value opportunities on the portfolio including re-sites, disposals and professional Landlord and Tenant work.

You’ll use your excellent communication and collaboration skills as you liaise with colleagues in Head Office on matters ranging from location planning to store design and maintenance.

A bit about you
This is a challenging and important role so you’ll need to be confident and used to working on your own. You’ll enjoy using your initiative to take responsibility for delivering KPIs and generating added value cash into the business as well as enhancing the property portfolio.

You’ll have a proven track record of managing a multi-site retail property portfolio and you’ll be comfortable dealing with highly regarded external Landlords and Consultants. With your RICS qualification and extensive retail property experience, you’ll be prepared for all the challenges that will come your way.

Decision making and leading ideas and projects come easily through establishing clear objectives and demonstrating communication and negotiation skills. You’ll be a great team player, supporting the Group Property Director and working with teams across the business.
