About the role
From feasibility studies to project definitions to post go-live support, you’ll be involved in projects (with investments of up to £5 million) from conception to completion. You’ll engage stakeholders – and engage them early – and be quick to understand the rationale and requirements of a proposed project. From there, you’ll weigh up the pros and cons and decide on the best possible solution, ensuring that it’s practically and financially viable. As well as pulling plans and expertise together and managing large project teams (and external suppliers), you’ll need to gain buy-in from key stakeholders across the Clarks business. From start to finish, your focus will never waver: delivering projects which add real value to our business on time, on budget and to the highest standards.
An expert in project management, you'll have a strong track record in successful medium to large project delivery. You will have experience in implementing APO (Advanced Planning and Optimisation). It's also important that you have extensive practical experience of leading complex international implementation. Understandably, you'll have expert knowledge of project management methods and planning tools, including Prince 2. Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills are a must. You'll also have the strength of mind and personality to drive change and influence and inspire colleagues from across the business across the world. You'll need to be happy travelling overseas when needed.
