The Europe Region at Clarks is very diverse and growing, and as part of our busy Customer Operations team you’ll develop great relationships with our wholesale customers, colleagues and overseas offices.
We have varying roles and responsibilities which combine to ensure we deliver a yearly order book of over 7 million pairs, to over 3,500 customers/distributors across more than 50 countries/islands.
About the Role
Variety’s the order of the day within our Customer Operations department. You’ll manage all aspects of the order book for our wholesale customers and aim to do it brilliantly. With a keen eye for detail and accurate keying skills you’ll manage orders and ensure that we keep stock flowing to customers in line with their requirements while achieving our regional monthly, Half Year and Year End targets.
Whether you’re communicating with colleagues and stakeholders to make sure that we’re meeting our customers’ requirements, managing day-to-day enquiries or placing/amending orders, your efficient, helpful manner will ensure that we’re always on top of things. Customer Operations in Europe consists of a team of 11 at HQ and 14 across our offices in Germany, Ireland, Netherlands and Poland.
Ideally, you’ll already have some similar order processing experience under your belt. As well as being great with figures, you’re great with people, with excellent communication skills. You’re also fantastically well-organised. While experience of working with SAP would be a bonus, you’ll know your way around a PC, especially packages like MS Excel.
Your ability to form strong working relationships is a must, as you will be working across many functions, based both in the head office and in our European offices, to deliver the common business objectives.
Life with us
Every 60 seconds, 105 pairs of Clarks shoes are sold globally. That makes us a £1.6 billion business and a truly worldwide brand. We now have some 15,000 employees across 75 different countries. In the UK, we’ve been named one of the nation’s Top 25 Employers by Indeed. Despite being the world’s biggest everyday footwear brand (by sale volume), we’re still owned by the Clarks family and based in Street, Somerset – where the Clarks business began. Street is the nerve centre of our business, driving growth and the whole Clarks success story.
As well as development opportunities, pension and a competitive salary, you’ll also enjoy a variety of benefits. These range from 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) to discounted healthcare. And, as everyone loves new shoes, you’ll also get a very healthy discount on our products.
We love hearing from great people
