Fixed Term Contract 12 -18 months
As an Overhead Accountant your main responsibility will be to support with the day to day financial management of cost centre and GL accounting records. Working across regional and group support functions you will help to provide a clear picture of monthly costs as well as providing robust balance sheet reconciliations. As well as tackling daily tasks, you’ll be confident interacting with stakeholders from within and outside of the finance function responding in an accurate and timely fashion to queries and issues related to the organisations activities. Proactive and enthusiastic, you’ll be AAT qualified or studying for your ACCA/CIMA qualification, and have some experience of working in a similar Finance function. You’ve a strong background of double entry book keeping and cost centre accounting and keep your technical accounting knowledge up to date, applying it to everyday issues. Exceptionally organised with an eye for detail, you’re a great team player who can communicate well at all levels. Add sound MS Excel skills and you’re off to a rolling start!
