Joining our team of product people who’ll share your passion for fabulous shoes, you’ll learn and fully understand how to plan and develop seasonal ranges of footwear – ranges that meet our target customers’ needs and stand out from competitors. Involved from the start of the process, you’ll work closely with design, product development and other teams to bring ideas and products to life.
Working with the Product Line Manager, you’ll manage specific parts of our range – from development and clear design briefs to prototype samples for consideration. You’ll play an important part in how well the category performs – your input for cost price targets and negotiating skills with factories and suppliers will influence our sales and margin targets.
A bit about you
Well, you’re likely to be a graduate in fashion retail or design, and ideally you will have had work placement within a retail head office. We need you to be commercially switched on, aware of what goes into footwear construction, which includes having an eye for the aesthetic appeal of prototypes. Confident with numbers, you’ll know how to use Excel and other MS Office applications such as PowerPoint for presentations. You’re up-to-the-minute with fashion and trends – as well as the market place and competition. Naturally passionate about shoes with an appreciation of footwear construction, you enjoy communicating and inspiring an audience and are hungry to learn!
